Billionaire Ray Dalio Reveals ‘Digital Ray’ AI Agent Trained on 35 Years of Principles

Ray Dalio says he is beta testing an artificial intelligence agent trained on decades of his personal decision-making framework, promising users a digital version of himself that can engage in real conversations.

The billionaire investor confirms the project in a Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything) session, framing it as a way to scale his principles to a much wider audience than he can reach directly.

Dalio, founder of Bridgewater Associates and author of Principles, has long emphasized the codification of rules for navigating markets and life.

He describes the project as a culmination of the thousands of principles he has written down over his career and says the model has been refined through extensive curation and testing.

“Yes. I am beta testing it now. It has been very well trained because over the last 35 years, I have written down thousands of principles for dealing with thousands of situations, and it has been very well curated because the questions and answers produced by ‘Digital Ray’ have been quality controlled.”

The investor says that the agent will allow him to extend his thinking far beyond what he can manage in person.

“I really believe that it will be effective in always being able to answer all people’s questions all the time, so that we won’t be limited in the way we are limited now, because I can’t answer everyone’s question on this Reddit AMA…

It will be better than you imagine because it will exchange thoughts with you. In other words, you can have conversations with it and, if you like, it will get to know you so it can be more helpful based on your specifics.”

“Digital Ray” is currently available to beta applicants through a dedicated site, which shows that the AI agent offers personalized coaching, mentorship, and principled guidance.
