New Tool Lets You Check How Likely AI Is To Replace Your Job – See Where Your Role Stands

Employees can now use a platform that lets them see whether their jobs are likely to be taken over by artificial intelligence.

The Action Network says it has built a new tool that estimates the implied odds that AI could replace jobs, based on Anthropic’s Labor Markets Impact of AI report.

According to the Action Network, the tool covers 756 jobs, with desktop-based digital work having the highest odds of AI replacement.

“The real dividing line in the AI job race isn’t education level or salary. It’s whether the work happens mainly on a screen or in the real world. Jobs built around digital information rank far higher in exposure than many physical, in-person roles people rarely think of as future-proof.”

The firm says computer programmers are the most likely to be replaced by AI, with implied odds at 45%, followed by customer service representatives at 42% and data entry keyers at 40%.

“These jobs revolve around structured digital tasks AI can already help perform.”

The Action Network also finds that jobs heavy on documentation, communications and research are at the top of the list.

“Medical Records Specialists sit at 40%, while Medical Transcriptionists reach 38%. Both roles rely heavily on organizing, processing, and documenting information in formats AI handles well.

Market Research Analysts and Marketing Specialists show 39%, while Public Relations Specialists sit at 27%. These roles still require judgment, but they include writing, summarizing, and information synthesis that overlap with AI tools.”

Meanwhile, the firm says jobs at the safer end of AI replacement are those that rely on physical movement or real-world interaction. Roles that have 0% implied odds of AI replacement include legislators, administrative services managers, compensation and benefits managers, human resources managers, farmers, ranchers and other agricultural managers, food service managers, gambling managers, postmasters, emergency management directors and insurance appraisers.
